A special surprise greeted my leading the westbound Norfolk Southern 267 Roadrailer during a balmy December 2005 evening. EMDX SD70M-2 added quite a bit of color to the train.

Westbound Triple Crown train 267 prepares to stop at WB Junction for BNSF traffic to clear before heading to Argentine.

The RoadRailer NS Train 267 comes into town through Kansas City Union Station. In a little while, this will become BNSF Train Q KCKSAG1 26A at Argentine Yard and a BNSF leader will be added.

Westbound Triple Crown train 267 passes over the small bridge in Lagro, Indiana.

267 crosses the Marion Branch, just a few miles behind fellow(and really long!) roadrailer 255. 267 is just a few miles from a crew change in Peru, IN.

A lone Conrail blue leads this Triple Crown train into the east end of Lagro siding on the ex Wabash line.
